About PlayMemorize Logic Puzzles
Logic Puzzles brings together six classic Japanese pencil-puzzle formats in one place. Each format trains a different flavour of constraint-satisfaction reasoning · the ability to work through a set of rules and deduce the unique valid solution without guessing.
Six puzzle types. Akari · place light bulbs to illuminate every white cell; numbered walls constrain how many bulbs may touch them. Shikaku · divide the grid into rectangles, each containing exactly one number equal to its area. Nurikabe · shade cells black so numbered white islands are isolated and black cells form one connected group with no 2×2 block. Slitherlink · draw a single closed loop along grid edges; numbered cells say how many of their edges the loop uses. Bridges (Hashiwokakero) · connect islands with bridges so each island's count is satisfied and no bridges cross. Loop (Masyu / Infinity Loop) · route a loop through every cell following turning rules.
Why these puzzles? Each format is a textbook constraint-satisfaction problem. Solving them regularly builds logical deduction, pattern recognition, and the ability to reason about interdependent constraints · skills that transfer to programming, mathematics, and analytical thinking.
Streak format. Completing a puzzle correctly advances the streak; an invalid solution ends it. Difficulty controls grid size and the density of given clues.

Do I need to know Japanese to play?
No. The puzzles are fully localised. The rules are also geometric and self-contained · once you learn the rules once, the puzzle language does not matter. -
How does difficulty scale?
Easy difficulty uses small grids (5×5 to 7×7) with many clues given. Higher difficulty increases grid size and reduces given clues, requiring longer deduction chains and more backtracking resistance. -
