About PlayMemorize
Memory training games for everyone. Last updated: April 15, 2026.
And this is MemPi
The PlayMemorize mascot. He's a π · that's the whole joke. He turns up on the home page, in mini-game results, and on the install screen.
Why I Built This
It started with a simple idea: I wanted a clean, distraction-free way to practise memorising the digits of pi. The apps I found were either cluttered or just not enjoyable to use. So I built my own.
What began as a single pi digit trainer quickly grew. I realised that the same principles - spaced repetition, active recall, pattern recognition - could power many different kinds of learning tools. Today PlayMemorize is a collection of browser-based games designed to make learning feel effortless.

Design Principles
- Open the page and play. An account is optional and lets your progress follow you across devices.
- Works everywhere. Phone, tablet, or desktop. No app store downloads. Works offline once loaded.
- Clean and calm. No dark patterns, no fake countdown timers. A warm, muted design that lets you focus.
- Accessible. Touch targets meet accessibility guidelines. Keyboard navigation works. Screen readers can follow game state.
- Privacy-respecting. Anonymous analytics, transparent data practices.
