About PlayMemorize Match the Number

Match the Number is a visual maths game with one simple rule: look at the picture, then pick the number that matches it. Build a streak by matching every picture correctly; one wrong answer ends the run.

Three kinds of picture, one skill. Early rounds show a handful of scattered objects to count one by one. As the counts grow, the objects line up in rows of five, so you can count groups instead of single items · the step from counting to skip-counting. Structured rounds use a ten-frame, the classic classroom grid whose filled cells make numbers up to twenty readable at a glance. And at higher difficulty the game switches to fractions: a bar or a disc is split into equal parts, some are shaded, and you name the fraction · three shaded parts of four is 3/4.

Honest by construction. Every picture is drawn from the exact value it is scored against, so counting carefully always wins · there are never two answers that could both be right, and wrong options are always plausible near-misses (one or two off for counts, a miscounted part for fractions) rather than wild guesses.

Gets harder as you go. Difficulty widens the kinds of picture (loose objects → ten-frames → fractions), raises the biggest counts toward twenty, brings in finer fraction splits (up to twelfths), and adds more answer options sitting closer together.
