About PlayMemorize Power Grid
Power Grid is a hands-on circuit-wiring puzzle. A small network of parts is laid out · a battery, a light bulb, and a scatter of power cells and drains · and your job is to switch the wires between them on and off so the bulb receives exactly the power it asks for.
How a round works. Tap any wire to switch it on or off. Power flows out of the battery and through every part that is connected to it. Cells marked with a plus add power; drains marked with a minus take some away. The bulb only lights when it is wired back to the battery, and it grows brighter and bigger as more power reaches it. Land on the target value exactly and press Light the bulb to win · come up short and it stays dim, overshoot and it overloads.
It is more than addition. Because every part you connect feeds the same network, the puzzle is as much about connectivity as arithmetic: you have to pick a path that reaches the bulb while pulling in just the right cells and leaving the rest out. A stray wire can drag an extra cell into the circuit and push you over the target.
It grows with you. Easy opens on a tiny three-by-three board with a couple of cells and no drains. Every round you clear makes the board larger, adds more cells and bigger targets, and brings in drains you have to balance · so the network gets richer the longer your streak runs.

What is Power Grid?
A circuit-wiring puzzle. You switch wires on and off in a small network so the light bulb receives exactly a target amount of power. Too little and it stays dim; too much and it overloads. One wrong answer ends the streak. -
How does the power reach the bulb?
Power flows from the battery through every part connected to it. Cells with a plus add power, drains with a minus subtract it, and junctions just pass it along. The bulb lights only when it is wired back to the battery, and it shows the combined power of everything in that connected network. -
Why does the bulb sometimes overload?
The bulb wants the target value exactly. If the parts you have wired together add up to more than the target, the bulb is overloaded · switch some wires off, or route around an extra cell, until the total lands on the target. -
Is it just addition?
Arithmetic is part of it, but the real challenge is connectivity. Every part you connect joins the same network, so you have to choose a path that reaches the bulb while including the right cells and excluding the rest · a stray wire can pull in an extra cell and tip you over. -
Does it get harder?
Yes. Easy starts on a tiny three-by-three board; each round you clear grows the board, adds more cells and larger targets, and introduces drains you have to balance against the cells. -
