About PlayMemorize Portal Hop

Portal Hop is a spatial planning puzzle inspired by the "think with portals" moment. A ball sits on a small grid with a fixed launch direction. Before you launch, you place one pair of linked portals on wall faces · tap a wall for portal A, another for portal B, tap a placed portal to remove it. The ball flies in a straight line, enters a portal, and exits from the other one, out of the wall it sits on. Reach the target and you win the round; build a streak by solving board after board.

Plan before you commit. The whole game happens in your head before the Launch button: you mentally simulate the flight, work out where the ball will die, and bend its path with exactly one wormhole. Every puzzle is machine-checked at generation time · the game enumerates every possible portal placement and proves at least one of them wins before it ever shows you the board.

Gets harder as you go. Easy boards accept portals on any wall and have many winning placements. Higher difficulties restrict portals to solid surfaces (the outer border and obstacle faces, straight from Portal 2's white-wall rule) and shrink the number of solutions until it is nearly unique. At the top tier the puzzle needs two launches: the first flight must come to rest on a pad, then you re-place both portals and launch again.
