About PlayMemorize Continuum
Continuum is a semantic-gradient game. Two words mark the extremes of one intensity scale · freezing at one end, scorching at the other · and you slide a marker to where a third word, like warm, belongs between them.
How a round works. The two extreme words anchor a scale; one word from the same gradient appears to place. Drag the marker (or nudge it with the arrow keys) to its spot and check. You do not need to be pixel-perfect · you win when the marker lands nearer the target than to either neighbouring word, and the reveal shows the exact position and its honest tolerance band.
Why gradients matter. Most vocabulary knowledge is binary · you know a word or you don't. Gradient knowledge is finer: knowing that furious outranks angry, which outranks annoyed, is what lets you calibrate your own writing and read the temperature of someone else's. It is the difference between having synonyms and having a scale.
Fully localised. Every gradient is authored natively in all 25 supported languages, using words whose ordering is unambiguous in that language rather than literal translations.
