关于 What Reaction
What Reaction shows you a famous scene from a classic public-domain book · Dickens, Austen, Twain, Conan Doyle, Baum and more · that stops just before a character reacts. Your job is to pick what the character actually did or felt next. The right answer is never a matter of opinion: it is what the book really says, and after every guess the game reveals the actual next line from the text.
Predicting a character's reaction trains two things at once: reading comprehension (did you follow the scene?) and emotional reasoning (what would this person, in this situation, plausibly feel and do?). Because every reveal quotes the original book, wrong guesses still teach you the scene · and might tempt you to read the whole story.
